How rare is RX330 Thundercloud Edition? Worth more?
After reading wiki and Toyotareference.com, learned in 2005 there is a Thundercloud Edition. I think there is 6500 unit so is it really that rare?
It has different grille (which I think many people wants to get that look), wheels and dark wood interior. Anything else? If you go to KBB or edmunds, they really don't have anything about pricing for the Thundercloud Edition.
So does it mean Thundercloud really has no additional value in the used market? Will you pay more for that edition?
Just want to see how that Thundercloud Edtion plays in the current market and how to price it. Thanks

depends on condition, if it looks like a POS & beat up then even the fact that its a TC won't do much.
However, look at any make/model that has limited edition runs - they always fetch more, and the TC had nicer wheels, chrome goodies, badging and all around aesthetic touches that the regular RX didn't have. ML audio/dvd system are standard along with HIDs/AFS unlike the 'option' for other RX's
Market price? Again condition. Considering 2005-2006 RX's with low miles in overpriced Canada are fetching ~22-26k, not sure how far you can go with it Stateside, considering your cars are cheaper overall.
6500 made seems like a lot, but who knows if they actually sold that many? It was 'planned' but production is limited to demand. Also, in the grand scheme this is a best seller for Lexus which explains why i see almost as many RX's on the road as i do Civic's... So in that regard 6500 isn't that crazy. I mean i've only seen a handful of TC/Pebble beach editions in my area...
