DVD sound through stereo speakers
Sorry to bug ya'll but I did a search in the forum and tried the method indicated - namely hitting disc twice in the main stereo controls to get the sound for the DVD to come through the speakers. That didn't work. I tried it with the vehicle in park and moving. Did I somehow misunderstand? Is my creampuff, gasp, broken?

That's how it works in my 2007. Start playing the disc in the RSES, hit DVD button on head unit, it starts playing audio from the front changer. Hit it again, and you get audio from the movie in the RSES.
Does not matter what gear the car is in, the position of the parking brake, or anything else. Sounds like you have a problem.
