Researched this battery option at Costco (Kirkland) last night. It calls for 24F. 35 is an alternate.
Dimensions are the same width and height but 35 is shorter. Should work. $59 for 100 month warranty, 36 months full replacement. This is also the case for my Maxima. I am all set.
The RX's battery is original (knock on wood) and I am watching out for signs of weakness. So far so good. In fact I will check charging and retained voltage this weekend.
For Costco members, Group 35 is what we need for our RX.

Need to do that our MPG have been going down for the last month drove to school on Tuesday and it died they took them over 30 min to jump it off . When they tested to old battery it had 9.28 volts and only 48cca left for a battery that should have had 575cca new. The alternator was the only thing keep that car running for a while. New battery in and the MPG start to go back up up again.

The Sam's club closed to me has both the 24F and 35. The 24F is like $10 more and has more CCA and seems to be a little bit bigger as stated by Mandy. Both will work, but I will buy the 24F for the more CCA when the time come. Checked the Autozone website and also noticed that the 24F has more CCA.

The 35 has sufficient CCA for our application. It matched or is better than the minimum required, last time I checked.

Lexus does not stand behind their batteries or at least that was my experience. I bought a 2 year old 2005 RX330 in December of 2007. In Oct of 2008 my battery completely died. I went to Lexus and they said it would be $150 for a new battery. I asked about the warranty and was told they didn't warrant the battery it was a wear and tear item.
Then I just happened to look at the battery when they had the hood up and realized it was a Delco battery, which is GM. I made the comment if it had already had the battery replaced in less than two years and now I need another battery, there really must be something wrong with the SUV. They said there wasn't anything they could do about it. And yes is was still under the manufacturer's warranty when I went to them. So I ended up buying a battery from Walmart and have had no problems for 3 years now.
Just my two cents worth.

Manual has the directions, too.

Better to look at the manual, it will give you everything you need to reset.
