60k service cost is about $350 at a Lexus dealership if they replace all the fluids and around $250 from a Toyota dealership. The things actually needed are surprisingly few unless you are towing. Lots of inspection items though. You should be able to get this done at an independent for around $100-$200 but you forgo the free loaner. So figure that loaner for the day is costing you over $100. LOL, guess you need to pay for all the bakery, gourmet coffees, sodas, snacks, big screen TV's, computer offices, etc. at the Lexus dealership.

OTOH, I had a mechanical failure and the Lexus dealer set me up in an office with a secretary to assist me in putting together a presentation I needed to deliver by 5PM that same day. They went the extra mile, even providing me lunch while I waited and I certainly appreciated it. Everything in life comes with a cost. Sometimes the cost is a value other times it is not.

The actual physical things called for aside from all the inspections:
•Brake fluid is replaced at 30k and 60k [Every 24 months]
•ATF, Transfercase and differential(s) fluids are replaced if you are towing, otherwise just inspected. [Every 12 or 24 months] (FWIW, I'd recommend replacement.)
•AC Filter replacement [Every 6 months]
•Tire Rotation [Every 6 months]

If you register at Lexus.com I believe you can access the owners manual on-line. Search for the maintenance supplements. You can bring that maintenance schedule to any Toyota or independent and get an estimate.
