Seriously, on the RX, while it may look sporty, it's not like you have to climb in.

Old ladies, LOL!

Default Running Boards

I bought mine on eBay. Through those idiots at Sewell. Took a letter to Lexus Customer Service to get them to ship them to me.

When they arrived they came straight from ATS. Painted.

I had them put on at a local tire dealer. They remove the black plastic edge material. The steps use two large L shaped brackets to hold each one. Took them about 3 hours to install using a lift.

I like them. With the rack removed and blacked out taillights. It looks a little different. It would be nice if they a lighted set. With lights that come on with the doors opening.

The only time I use them is when I am wiping down the roof.

At one time we did deal directly ATS and quite often at that. The running boards are very strong, durable and sturdy all through out and with this particular design it was an excellent match to the RX.

It was until the later years of the 2nd generation RX did we notice fewer and fewer requests for these running boards. Even now I'm a bit surprised to see them surface again. It was about a year ago did we sell of the last remaining inventory.

We have the installation instructions available should anyone need them all in the attempt of installing them yourself. I wouldn't call it difficult just a bit more on the tedious side.

Thought I'd bring this one back...finally cleaned the ride is more like it. I got some boards basically for a two and five year old, so I do not have to pick them up all the time and it makes them feel big to climb in on their own. But once they were on and I saw how sharp they look with the chrome handles and rims; I don't think they'll be coming off as the kids get older.

It's extremely unnecessary for the RX But in some cases looks cool. That first one looks OEM till you see the black front and rear bumpers than you know it was added. Just my 2 cents. To each their own. It's all good for your $500+
