Default 2005 RX 330 or 2006 RX 400H

My 1999 RX 300 (165K) died yesterday of a broken tranny. I loved the car, but its time it went to car heaven.

There are two cars on a reputable local dealer's lot I am looking at. A 2006 RX 400H (90K) mile and a 2005 RX 330 (85K).

OK happy RX 330 owners. Convince me to buy the 330.

Keep looking, there are a lot of Lexus dealers in the bay area. See if you can find a RX330 with fewer miles.

Hmmmmm...do you think there will be big problems going forward with an RX330 with over 80K?

The price is good ($18K) and I'm hoping to keep it until it too gets to about 160K. I know a timing belt is in its future. And according to Car Fax, the car was almost obsessively maintained at a local Lexus dealership.

Thoughts? Help! I need to make my decision tonight!

i think, warranty on the battery pack is out at 100K miles on a 400H, so this is something to consider so there are problems with it. not sure what the cost for replacement is but it might be pricey. RX330 with 80k miles if meticulously maintained is a good buy, IMO.
