Shock absorber question
I know this is a naive question, but hey I'm an artist, not a mechanic!
I've got an 04 RX with air suspension. 43K miles.
My question is, do I also have shock absorbers? And what do they sound like when they're dying?
Right front makes much more (bottoming out type) noises when going over speed bumps. I also hear kind of a low sporadic rumbling.
Any help would be appreciated.

Standard test is to park on a level surface. Push down as much as you can from one end and on release the vehicle should go up and then come down to normal position. If you can observe another up and down movement (2nd bounce) the the shock is bad. Do this to all 4 corners.
How much weight do you carry in RX. I think it supposed to be around 500-600lbs (includes weight of the occupants).
