My rear floor compartment floor won,t lock the floor down. One latch on each side and stick in the retracted position and wont release to lock the floor boards. I pryed and sprayed with wd 40 no luck...
Any help fellas ?

sounds like you may have popped a spring,

it jsut so happens that i installed my hitch today, so i am very familiar taking apart the rear floor area.

step 1 pop open the two compartments (you dont have to worry about this.

step 2, there are little clips which just pop off, (pull them up) perhaps with a screw driver.

step 3, the large tray comes out first, just pull it up,

step 4 pop off the trim peice which contains the release buttons,

this should give you a good look at those releasers.

Not sure why they go bad, but I got my car used and both did not work.
