Default Sunroof power open/close SOLVED

Hi all.... So I just realized that my sunroof/moonroof no longer opens automatically when I press the buttons.. either the tilt nor the other button.... I have a 2006 400h... I know the dealer programmed it to open and close without holding the button... Does anyone know how I can re-do it? I don't even know why it stopped working! Thanks...

Push the open switch and hold it while the roof opens, closes, tilts up and tilts down. Then release the button and it will be re-programmed.

Check the battery too. Auto open/close stops working when the battery is starting to go.

You are re-initializing. Same thing happens with your windows and power gate. You probably unhooked the battery recently, hence you lost the program.

emi, I hope it's as simple as re-initializing. I've had my battery disconnected for hours while stereo work was being done but didn't lose the auto open/close function. It's only when the battery started to go that I did. It was covered under warranty. Good luck.

How long is the warranty on the battery??? Mine is an '06!!! Any idea how much batteries are?
Cuz in all seriousness, I haven't had any work done on it! so the battery hasn't been disconnected!

emi, you should be ok. It's still under warranty. Mine went at 4 1/2 years but I blame the extra stereo equipment
