Default RX350 Coilovers, Springs, Shocks?

Hey guys,

Just wondering if anyone on CL has coilovers on their RX.

Any of you guys on lowering springs swap out your oem shocks for after market ones?

I'm building a new project RX350 at work and we don't want to run air

If anyone has some suggestions that would be great

JA,

I have an O7' and the only suspension I have found aside from air runner (4k) are Eibach springs which I am considering purchasing also. I was told they ride great with factory shocks, but that was from the shop trying to sell them to me. Good luck!

I recieved the eibachs today and will install sometime next week. I will update and post some pics. On another note, I am in the process of purchasing some new wheels for the RX. I am having mixed feelings about running 20" due to the proportion, even on a lowered stance. I have had 22" to even 26" on previous SUV's without issues or severe loss of comfort. Since this will be the family chariot, I was curious if any one was running 22" and what was the ride like?.

You might want to check out Tanabe. What I know is that Tanabe have springs for Harriers (I have them on my car). Not sure if they'll fit US RXes but I'm assuming the 3.0L engines and larger should have the same (or at least similar) suspension set up with JDM Harrier 3.0

2" drop is going to be sweet, I wonder how will the ride quality is going to be ?_? 3" will give it an aggressive look with body kit installed.

From my experience, I'm on more than 2" drop on both F&R and I'm on Tanabe NF210 with stock shocks/dampers. The ride quality is.. I'd say... is still nice, not bouncy but definately stiffer than the stock ride. I trimmed the front stoppers too...
