10 MPG on my 2007 rx350, CRAP

My RX 330 manual states:
I've done numerous expressway tests of both fuel types and conclude that I can average 2 MPG higher using premium than regular in my RX330. While I might be able to use regular, it is actually cheaper to use premium in my RX330, as I can go further on each dollar spent. Added benefits of running premium include a cleaner engine and improved performance.
Unless you actually do the math with your own vehicle, you might be fooling yourself if you just assume you are saving money by using regular.

we get your kind in our dealership all the time......They want to drive class but thay have 2 cents to there name, and go to jiffy lube for there 2.00 oil changes, and wonder why the 16yr old left the drain plug loose. If we get a ping problem in our dealership we take a sample and get it tested, if it comes back as crap gas, we tell them to get lost! If you wanna roll with the big dogs, get the mpg outta ur head, trade it in for a kia

Well we can have this debate until the cows come home. This topic has been beat in the head for quite some time now,the best thing to do is use what ever fuel you think it runs best on. If 87 works for you,use it. If 89 does, use it. etc.I think its time we put this topic to bed. We certainly will not all agree on this subject, thats for sure.

I'm getting roughly around 15.6 mpg with an unchanged airfilter and all winter tires right now. So if i do change it i expect to see a huge difference. BUT 10 mpg?????? something seriously wrong dude.
