Blue Tooth-Cell> Sound breakups
I have a 2008 Rx350, and when my wife talks to me over it, it very often goes quiet, like it has dropped. Wait a few seconds, and I hear her again.
Volume is fine when I do hear her, but these dropouts are quite annoying.
Another issue is that she says when I'm on my cell phone in my 2003 Lexus on a Motorola speaker phone, she says it often screeches on her side. I don't have anyone else complain of this.
I have read of some folks needing to have the mic replaced. Thought I'd ask here about settings first:
Any suggestions on what I may need to set, and how to get to the secret menu it will require?
Thanks
Roger
[EDIT]
I did use a menu option I was told about for setting volume, and I see that Receive Volume is set to 2; Send Volume is set to 3; and Call Quality (whatever that is) is set to 00. Didn't see any other settings.

Raised it
I had to turn up the mic pickup as most people said they could not hear me.

OK. I can experiment with it. I'm not having problems hearing here, if it doesn't 'drop out'. NOt hearing I'm thinking is different from having dripout. When it's not dropping out, it's almost too loud. So I may try dropping volume and then if that doesn't help, may raise it.
