I knew that the wood steering wheel and shift **** were an added option, on the Rx, that is why color never matches perfectly, they are added at the end, and come from a different tree. I just could never seem to find an Rx without the wood steering wheel of shift ****, until now.

I have that "option", though I purchased a wood shift ****. Mine is with the Navi and does not have the wood wheel nor ****, but is the performance package with air suspension etc. Interesting that some people choose different options when purchasing new.

That looks just like my old 330 I'm not a fan of the wood steering wheel and shifter. It's more common than not. Still don't have it on the 450h but don't have the air suspension either.

It's not bad without. I had a wood kit on the 300 around the vents and gear shift, not the steering wheel and shifter itself. The wood faded over time compared to the other pieces. So I'd rather look at leather than discolored wood. No wood at all would even be nicer. Fortunately there's less of it on the 450h.

So, are you getting it? Seems a reasonable price and the seller said he was "motivated".

According to my dealer, RXs with the performance package accounted for only about 5% on the road. The wood steering wheel and shifter were not available for it. So if you like it, grab it. They're few and far between. Sequential shift and AFS along with the air suspension RXSF mentioned were standard.

I hadn't really thought about this problem but looking around on ebay and Autotrader it's amazing how many mismatches there are! There's a black/black on ebay with the cherry interior and what is obviously a birds eye maple wheel!

How did these things get by QC?
