Default Bluetooth Phone Book Transfer

A tip for getting your phone contacts transferred to the Lexus phone book:
I was not able to easily at first get my contacts from my Droid transferred to the Lexus. I found an app called Bluetooth File Transfer that I used to export my contacts, worked great.

I then tackled getting my wife's contacts to transfer. She has a different phone. The system kept disconnecting the connection. I was able to get all her contacts into a CSV file and tried using the Blueooth File transfer app, but to no avail.

I then set up all her contacts into her Google Voice account (which needed to be done anyway) and temporarily added her google account to my phone and then just redid the contact transfer using the Buetooth File Transfer app.

I just wish you could stream Pandora via Bluetooth to the speakers.

Hope this helps someone!

Did you try using the app "Bluetooth File Transfer"? That worked very easily for me. I have never had an Iphone so I am not familiar with those apps. Have you already tried to transfer your contacts?

Hello forum members... I am new to Lexus ownership and recently purchased a red '09 RX 350 that I could use some guidance on the referenced Bluetooth File Transfer app. I have an iPhone 4 and searching the Apple App store see many different ones to choose from with relatively weak ratings. If anynone has performed this with an iPhone and can provide the specific file sharing app and an outline on how to transfer the phone book it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Ken
