123K on our RX330 ... Toyota Type-IV fluid with a fluid exchange/flush at 60K, followed by every 30K since (14 quarts during the fluid exchange process).

350K on our 88 Camry, fluid changes every 60K.

RX330-2004
Mileage: 88,900
No Transmission problem yet--I bought this when it had around 80K on it, checked all service reports--no mention of transmission at all. Seems to be working fine.

2001 RX300 Made it too 139K. Then the planetary failed. Now 12K later and it back at the shop. Was slipping going into 3rd. Found the be a bushing overheated and backed out of the smaller planetary causing damage that caused a internal hydraulic leak. Still in limbo at this moment.

2004 RX 330 - 98,000 miles, it's still going fine. Just changed a trans. fluid and filter. (btw it was filter, but not a screen). The original filter is not made by Toyota, it's made in US, so I bought from AutohausAZ. The filter came same as original, so worry there. I used Toyota fluid, as piece of mind.

I want to write a little update on transmission behaivor after oil/filter changed.
I had small, sometime, hesitation at speed 25-30 mph, it felt like transmission wants to go on lower gear, but throttle output give to computer is different signal. I didn't see right after oil/filter changed, but couple days later (about 100 miles), it's gone, trans is working perfect.

2000 RX 300, 115,000 mi. No problems whatsoever, but had my dealer check out the transmission during latest service, just to screen for signs of problems... as I'll be selling it now that I have the RX 450h. They told me everything checked out A-OK!

RX330 with 196,000 miles - just changed the timing belt again and did all the fluids... transmission is smoother with the fluid replacement...

the transmission was a little jerky before the fluid replacement but has never needed anything else...

Default tsb ?

can someone explain to me what exactly is tsb ?
and can we change it ? why ? a recall ?

2004 rx 330
A small lag depend of the acceleration.
But in one review, the guy who tested, told that the transmission look like thinking like a grandfather when switching the gear.

When we are flushing the transmission, the garage have a machine with pressure that flush also the torque converter. It is good to do that or only drain the pan and clean the filter are ok ?

A TSB stands for "Technical Service Bulletin" which is a hidden warranty item that the manufacture issues to the dealers. The manufacture generally doesn't want you to know about these because they would rather not fix them if their not dangerous. But, because of the wonders of the Internet, the public can see these and go straight to the dealer for warranty work.
