Default Locations for tire jack on 2009 RX 350 ?

I have the 2009 RX 350.

When I read the owner's manual on how to change a flat tire, the manual says to put the Lexus-supplied jack at a point below each door to lift the car.

In a section for rotating tires, the manual says there are 2 places for to put the jack. One is at the rear of the car to lift the 2 rear tires and the other is a the front, under the engine bay, to lift the 2 front tires. Both of these points are on the centerline of the car.
Apparently, these 2 jack points are for non-Lexus jack.

Do I understand the manual correctly ?

There are various locations for lifting the RX and they depend on the type of Jack. The one supplied with the RX for emergency/road_side swapping with the spare, has four locations [each on the side near the wheels] .... typically marked as a set of notches in the metal seam.

The supplied jack does not lend itself well for rotation as you lift one wheel at a time with it. One can conceivably use a temp (spare) to make the rotation happen ... reminds me of the old riddle of lion, sheep and hay that need to be taken across a river

I would not attempt to lift the entire front or rear of the car with the supplied jack....

Yeah the scissor jack is only for those pinch welds. You'll need a proper big hydraulic jack to get to the rear jacking point.

Currently, I have a couple of 2 1/2 ton jacks that I use to rotate tires on my Sienna mini van.
Can the 2 1/2 ton jack safely lift one end of the RX350 ?
If you were to rotate the tires on the RX350 by swapping front tires and rear tires, how would you do it ?
