Follow the instructions to remove the headlights up to step 6 and you should be able to remove the bulb from there.

Fog lights are a different story, technically you have to remove the bumper cover...some people have done without this step.

You will have to remove the under cover for the engine and then you can unbolt the bumper and the fender liner. I have done the headlamp repair and this is what I had to do to get the bumper cover out of the way to remove the headlamp.
So technically, you do not need to remove the cover, as long as you can peel off the fender liner, you are good to go. See my post about headlamp condensation repair, you will see what bolts to undo.
Good luck.

Also, while you're messing with the front bumper, do this mod:

Cheap, easy to do and it will save you HUGE $$$$$$.

question on the gutter guard mod? Have many RX owners had holes in their condensors from road debris? I've also got an 06 Odyssey that I did the gutter mod to due to numerous posts on non-warranty AC condensor replacements for big $. Of course Honda redesigned the 08-09 versions with factory mesh covering the opening. Sounds like I should probably do the same on my 09 RX.

I have heard of a case of the same issue. She had a brand new RX330 and she lost her AC from a rock puncture of the condenser. Lexus had to charge her an arm and a leg to replace the condenser....soon as I bought the RX, 1st thing I did was the mod. Then again, all my other cars have mesh on them way before the RX.

I finally got around to replacing the fog light and it turned out to be a lot easier than I had thought. After seeing the replacement part it became obvious that the light snapped into an existing pressure ring with no mechanical fastner as such. I removed the plastic underneath (the same one I remove when I change oil to get to the filter) and removed one bolt on the wheel well plastic. I could then reach the fog light assembly and just snapped it out with a flat head screw driver after removing the electrical plug. The new one went in the same way (obviously) and I was done. It took about 20 minutes. I had the camera out to take pictures but I got involved with the work and forgot (senior moment) about the camera until I had finished.
The mesh mod to protect the AC condensor is really a good idea but since I am getting ready to sell/trade the car for a 2010 RX I thought I hold off on that mod.
Thanks for everyone's help.
