Hi,

I need to have my front license plate mounted since it is a law in NJ. Fun, Fun...My "new to me" Lexus RX350 is a 2007.
Anyway, the dealer wants $66 to special order the front plate mount.

Looking for less expensive options....

Hoping someone can help me. Once i have the mount myself, the dealer will do it for free.

Try ebay to get it cheaper...I have a mount but am keeping it just in case I will need it. GA does not require front tags.

+1 for Ebay.

Also, once you have the mount you can do it yourself for free. It's just two screws, and if you look at the bumper you'll see the two dimples where they're supposed to go. Just don't tighten too much.

I've never been charged in NJ for the mount. Actually, the dealer puts their "logo" in place of the plate while you have the temporary license in NJ. I think you have a very sketchy dealer!

The stealership should provide you with the mount, it's part of the car! Most dealers want to advertise with their logos

Found this one on Ebay. $25 shipped. Not super-cheap, but better than $66.
