AFS Light Tired of watching it blink
Good Morning,
I am new to this site as a registered member...but I have read the postings about others who have the same issue with the AFS Off light blinking in their RX 330. I had it diagnosed at the dealer and of course was told it would be a $550.00 repair for a sensor and harness. Is there any way to just stop the light from blinking I am not interested in spending $550.00. I told the dealer if I wanted to act like I was a teenager again I would put some black electrical tape over it...seems a little crazy but so is the blinking light driving me crazy. Any help here anyone? And can this repair be done my myself.

If you know which sensor and what harness, it can be done with least cost. If not then it will either more time or money as you will do more than minimum.
Having a lift, tools and a reasonable DIY experience will help.
550 is a large amount but not exorbitant for peace of mind and security.
