Anyone tried Highlander 19" wheels on an RX350?
Probably a dumb question but has anyone tried the 19" Highlander Wheels on their RX350?
The Highlander wheel is 19" x 7.5. I estimate that a 245/50 R19 tyre would be required to keep the speedo in check.
Specifically, I would like to know if the Lexus Centrecaps will fit and whether there are any issues with rubbing etc.

Do you happen to know what the rim offset is on the highlander rims are? More than likely I would say they should fit, but until you know the actual offset its just a guess. As for the speedometer, as long as you are close to the same diameter you should be fine. I had major oversized rims on my RX with 20" rims and my speedometer was off by about a tad under 2 MPH at 60. For me that was insignificant since even Police Laser guns are accurate to only + or - 1 MPH.
As for the Lexus caps its hard to tell without actually trying them on.

I'm more concerned about the Lexus caps fitting. The Highlander and RX350 are basically the same vehicle and I can't see Toyota/Lexus having different production lines for wheels when they can standardise and then mix and match across businesses and product lines.

If you scroll to the end it says the wheels are different.

The probably should fit fine. Make sure you don't go with an extra wide tire. I ran a 20X8.5" +20 offset rim on my RX330. The 19X7.5 +35 offset rims you are thinking about will have more than enough outer clearance, and have 2mm less inner clearance then my old rims. I was very close to the inner strut and lower inner plastic liner in the rear (Front has a lot of room), but I did have over sized tires at 255/50/20, so if you keep the tires to the normal spec you should be fine.
As for the center caps I still have no clue. I would think they will fit but I don't know. Perhaps you could take the center cap from your spare to a Toyota dealership and just compare them yourself with one from the new Highlander.

Tirerack's website indicates that a 19X7.5 +35 offset rim will fit with no issues as long as I use 245/50R19 Tyres (which I plan to). I will call the Toyota Dealership and see if they know whether the centre caps will fit

Just to let everyone know the outcome.
Highlander (Kluger in Australia) 19 x 7.5 +35 Offset wheels will fit an RX350. The Centrecaps from Lexus wheels interchange into the Highlander wheels with no modifications etc.
To keep the speedo accurate, tyres of the following sizes will work:
245/50R19 - Yokohama Adven
255/45R19 - Bridgestone Potenza

Will post PICS after tyres are fitted in a month or so. Tossing up whether to have them powder coated and fit a TPMS at the same time (TPMS are not an option in the RX in Oz).
Speaking of TPMS, do our US members have pics or info on the standard US TPMS in the RX they can post?
