Notice to all Club Lexus Members,
We're making some minor tweaks to the forum lineup order this week and add a couple of new sub-forums. Please be certain you're clicking on the correct Lexus model forum before posting.
Our new 'order' is driven by a number of items including membership / post volume and follows the convention of:
1) sport-oriented
2) luxury-oriented
3) LUV size
and then by Lexus model lineup 'rank'
There should be no outage or downtime associated with the shift and any 'favorites' you have saved will still work the same.
If you experience any problems please post in the site suggestions and questions forum.

Hardwire radar detector to the rear view mirror
I'm planning to get a Escort 9500ix and hardwire it to the rear view mirror of my 07 RX 400h. I wonder if the installation would be the same for the RX as these instructions http://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-f...-detector.html
Would the wire color be different? Please help

It's pretty easy to find the necessary switched power lines up in the ceiling lights next to the sunglass holder; however, Escort hasn't made a good detector in many years; get the Valentine.
