Gen 2 dash
Hi, this may have been answered before but,
I bought a 1 owner 2008 in 2016 and gave it to my daughter. It only had 95,000 on the OD and appeared to be immaculate.
Anyway I took a ride with her a month ago and the dash now has several large cracks in it. Is she out of luck getting the dash replaced. Doesn't seem fair if the previous owner didn't have the issue resolved but is there any recourse available? The door panels seem fine so far but this issue reduces it's value considerably as well as the visual appeal.
Beautiful ride, it's a shame to see it so messed up. I had a 96 Avalon my wife put over 300,000 miles on and with the exception of worn carpet the interior was almost as nice as the day we purchased it.

You are probably out of luck. Lexus put the dash on a 10 year extended warranty and the clock started when the vehicle was first leased or sold. You can find this out by talking to your local Lexus dealer or calling the corporate offices in Calif. I hate to be a downer, but I have not heard of Lexus making any exceptions to the time. But you gotta try.
