Default Big clean-up - some nice pics

Big weekend for the car so far.
I started off with installing new brake pads on all 4 wheels.
Easy car to work on, by the way.

Then started the 'big' clean-up.
Washed it down with dishwash liquid (to remove all wax and oils), clay bar-ed it, and then started applying the Zaino system.
I used a Porter Cable to apply Zaino Fusion (paint restorer and swirl remover). Subsequently I immediately went to Zaino #2 (show car polish). There was no need for the #5 intermediate wax.
Edit : I re-read my post. I am in no way associated with Zaino. Have first used it based on a recommendation from other members in the VCA (Viper Club of America). Since then used it on all my vehicles. Stellar !

Attached some pics. The car is 3 y/o and my wife uses it as her daily driver.
What do you think about the 'my other car is a Porsche' license frame ?

This shows the depth and optical clarity of Zaino wax (this is a shot of the rear hatch) :

Here's a side shot. Front wheel is in a weird angle due to the slope of the driveway. Actual clearance is not that high.

AWESOME!! Do not think my RX looked that good when new. You should lecture the rest of us on the proper tools and techniques. Perhaps at a regional Lexus event.

1.5 hours for the brakes. Could do it in 30 mins now but took my time since it was the first time I worked on this car.
4 hours for the clean up. Well worth it. It looks...like new.
I'm installing clear bras on both the Lexus and Porsche over the next month. Nice projects ahead !

I received some questions about the rims. They are "Koenig" Hotswaps.
