*raises hand* but im only considering because its time for a new car for the family. However, id sooner trade in my IS300 for the new gen prius or the dedicated lexus hybrid next year than trade in my RX.

i need the utility sometimes. plus, i still love the car no matter how many miles it goes per gallon

That's an excellent poll question, I am sure Lexus is just as curious, too.

If you can afford a Lexus mileage isn't that big a deal but I guess that was last years thinking. Gas prices are too high not to consider trading for a better mileage vehicle. Even if I have to drive a Chev. or Ford.

No, I am getting great gas mileage 22 to 23 miles per gallon...Not much stop and go driving...Would not want smaller less powerful vehicle..This is city driving but a lot of freeway runs...

I'm quite satisfied with my fuel mileage, and have no intention of getting rid of our RX just yet. Now, that may change once we see what the "new and improved" RX's is like when it comes out, but we will always have at least one SUV type vehicle in our garage.

The RX had good mileage for a SUV in its class. Unless you no longer need a SUV, there is no point in trading in due to gas price.

I am planning to buy a car in the next few weeks after tarding my 07 RX. Not decided on which model. Yesterday I was offered $33700 (07 RX350 FWD 10K miles).

Do you guys think it is a good offer?

For a luxury SUV w/ 270 HP, I find the mileage impressive... plus, I drive like a maniac sometimes.

We are a multi car family. I have had an SUV since 1980 when they were not the "In kind of vehicle" that is so popular today. SUV's for the most part are not ever going to get good gas mileage as a car due to their weight, heavier drive train (when you get AWD or 4WD) and aerodynamics. We have the RX for hunting, fishing, camping and trips to Wally World and Home Depot and a ES for other driving needs. I also have a sports car for pure driving fun which also gets pretty good gas mileage. Since I just bought my RX 2 months ago I have no thoughts of selling or trading it.

I'm considering selling it and getting a more gas efficient car. I hear by summer it will hit $150 a barrel of oil. and if you live in California you are dead.
