Rx 330 Or Rx 350 With Wheel Spacers
Has anybody put wheel spacers on there RX after purchasing after market wheels ? Can you tell me your offset and the size rims and tires you are running? I am having issues of fitment with my 19x8 wheels and my 255x50 tires with a 40mm offset and I would like to know if others had any issues.

Well it's a long story but it seems they are going to rub I just don't know how much yet so I thought others could tell me what they have ran on there RX's.
It seems the 40 offset is to much but according to my research it should only need 5mm spacers but the person who checked the fit for me claimed they were WAY to tight and needed a large spacer and then wheel would stick out of the fender which I find hard to believe. According to discounttiredirect they say on a 19x8" wheel I can run 255x50x19 with a max offset of 35. That is where I am getting the 5mm spacer that I feel I need. I would like to hear what others are running.

Yea 6SPEED has been great he has been answering all my questions but it doesn't hurt to see if anyone will chime in. Chris has the same wheels but size 20"x 8.5 along with 255x50x20 tires but his offset is 25 mm. So you would think I may need 5mm-1 5mm spacer but I really would like to see if anyone has put spacers on there RX and what there sizing situation was.

My offset was actually +20mm.
You may or may not need a thicker spacer, but there is no way it will stick out from the fender unless you thought my rims stuck out way too far. It actually was pretty flush with the fender. Anyway, you would need a 25mm spacer for your 8" rims to sit in the same position in relation to the outer fender as my 8.5" +20 offset rims. IMHO, you have a lot of room to go out before you stick out. As it is right now, your 8" +40 retracts (Is further inset) by 26mm from my set up. 26mm = 1.02" Anywhere between 5-15mm would be safe IMHO.
PS. here is a link to an online wheel offset calculator you can use.

Well I am feeling much better now as I just came from my buddies tire shop and he said I need 5mm maybe 10mm tops to be safe. So the professionals are correct they said 19x8.5 with a 255x50 and an offset of 35mm will fit so I am close. Thanks for all the help guys.
