Question MF Buy Rate For An Rx350 MY08 Question

Hi everyone! I posted this on some other forum but got no replies...

Hubby & I are trying to lease a 2008 RX350.

I've searched everywhere but can't find the buy rate money factor for February/March. Rumors are it's .00140 for tier1 credit. Can somebody confirm??

Anybody have this info?

TIA, guys!

- sb.

Hmm... I must say, the BMW forums have a LOT more info stickied there

Putting together an X3 offer was a snap.

C'mon guys!!! There seems to be a real dearth of info, for potential Lexus customers.

I think you can do Multiple security deposits on a Lexus as well! I agree BMW has tons of info on that subject

Unfortunately, LFS will not provide you any financial information i.e. money factors, or residual values. They will tell you to call a local dealer.

I was quoted a mf of .00175 today for a 36 month lease, 10k miles per year. I bet there are better mf's out there. I will let you know if I hear of any.

Good luck to you as well.

I used the Edmunds forums when looking for the MF on our deal.

Dont know if that link will work for you or not. If not, just go to the main web site and navigate down the forums. Cant comment on February rates, but in January we got .00140 for Tier 1+

Thank you!

Yea, looks like Jan was 140. They change a lot, that's why I'm curious as to what the current rates are... In fact, looking from the link you posted, during their supposed sale "Dec to remember":

Lexus Financial Services' new buy rate lease money factor for the 2008 RX 350 is .00155

so, it was 155 during this "sale" -- even higher than what you got in Jan! Weird. But that's for an 08, I wanna see if I can lease an 07 model still. Should be able to save even more there...

I can't believe the buy rates are not posted here. Sadly, negotiating for a Lexus deal looks to be 100x times more difficult than a BMW one. I may just convince him to look at the X3 again

Yea. 175 is not bad... I wonder what the maximum dealer mark-up is...

In my personal opinion, the fed is going to cut interest rates again next time they meet. However, this is going to be more than offset by the widening of credit spreads in the bond market, and the continued weakening of the dollar relative to other currencies. In other words, dont expect MF rates to go down until Lexus really needs to move these cars.
