I can't get the cross members on my roof rack to move......any suggestions ?

I had similar issues with my 05 330 and wound up taking it to Lexus for warranty repair.

yes depending on the year of your car, you may have a faulty cross bar. mine was fine for a few years and then one of the crossbar tension cables went bad and it was unable to be moved forward/back. there is a TSB out there that covers the repair which includes replacement of both crossbars.

Had mine replaced under warranty. Beware, they might damage the plastic covers...by prying them out instead of the pinch and pull method....I have a tie warp on one cap, because it has lifted.....those sob's!!!
