i have a 2004 rx330, 67000 miles. theres some kind of a sound that comes from the rear that can be heard in the cabin. its a buzzing sound kind of like winch thats rewinding. the buzzing sound lasts about a second. most of the time it can be heard when the vehicle is in motion.

anyone can determine what this is?

hahah chainsaw! i dont have that in my cargo area.

it must be fuel pump.. but why would make that sound from time to time?

by the way im thinking of replacing my rx with a yaris hatch... do you think thats a silly thing to do?

starting today i am hearing a sound that sounds like wind buffeting, while the car is in motion, even when all the windows are up and locked.

Might be the license plate or frame. Mine was driving my wife nuts. Added screws and nuts to secure lincese platre to lincese frame and that did it. Quiet now.
