Default Turn Signal Flasher location

I did a search before posting. Does anybody know how to identify and access the Turn Signal Flasher on a RX330 . I know it is located somewhere to the left of the instrument panel.

you serious?

just push down or push up the most prominent handle on the left side of the steering column.

for the hazard flashers, press the red triangle are on the dash beneath the stereo display.

They probably mean the electronic flasher module under the dash that controls the flashing and NOT the turn signal handle or the emergency flasher button.

Why not try turning them on, getting your head in the driver footwell, and listening for the audible signal coming from the flasher unit?

You don't even get a driving license if you do not know where the switches for hazard lights and turn signals are and how to operate them.

I was asking about the wiring location/access to the turn signal flasher mounting, not the Turn signal switch on the sterring or hazard light switch

I haven't looked at my RX350 but some manufacturers are putting them on the fuse or relay blocks these days as a plug in module. It should be the size of a relay. Are you sure the problem is in the flasher? They generally last a very long time. I replaced 1 in my old ford van over a 14 year 250,000 mile life.

I am working on a mod to add LED mirrors and one of the step is to tap into the turn light flasher.

Sounds like a great idea. Have you considered picking up something like a Hanes manual? They cost around $30.00 and usually do a great job in the wiring guide sections. That would go a long way towards helping you get a bigger picture of what you are trying to accomplish. I think the latest Haynes combines the RX 300, 330 and Toyota Highlander into one book.

Thanks for the advice. The parts came with an install guide but it was not very clear at this critical section on how to tap the turn light flasher.
