Default "Pay it Forward" Spirit Community Thread

I know Killa-HZ has made a thread about this over in the SC section, and I know ThomasGS4 did it in the GS thread, so I thought, why not bring it over to the 2RX section as well?

If you have any spare parts laying around that you don't really need anymore and feel like just giving it out for FREE, post it here and setup a way for the person interested to pay for shipping!

Anyone that has spare parts laying around are encouraged to post them up here for FREE to members that wish to pay the shipping on them. No wanted items, no items that are priced in any way will be allowed, no trades, no business.

Exercise your community spirit by giving away "freebies" to others that need some help out.

Thanks guys!

*Borrowed this from the 2GS thread, as i thought it was good, and I will have parts to post up soon. So getting a head start on it.

I think some items would require more than just the cost of shipping. For example if someone wanted to ship a Lexus grille it would require a odd sized shipping box and some careful packaging. Then a trip to UPS.

The spirit is that the seller is not trying to make money. There are other avenues for that. Reasonable and true cost of shipping should be added and agreed upon.

The basic premise is that you are trying to help other members (community) and not making profit.

By the way this is just the tip of the iceberg. All other things like ... honest description of the condition, prompt payment and delivery, handling of multiple requests for a part etc apply.

Great idea. I'll start. I'd offer a rear Weathertech visor but I can't remember what side it's for and I'm not near it at the moment. I believe it's for driver side rear. I've had it a few years but it was never put on my 330. I had to buy the rear set to replace just one that broke. I'll confirm the condition later since it's been sitting in the closet for a while. Obviously I have no use for the visor anymore and I hate to throw it away.

Great concept. I have seen this done informally from other Forums. Making this formal, as long as members agree on terms should be a value added process. Recycling.
