Default RX350 HomeLink® Transceiver problems

Recently purchased RX350 and can not program the homelink receiver to my Liftmaster garage door opener with a rolling code. Has anyone experienced this problem or have any suggestions.

I followed the instructions in the manual but without success.

Which manual did you follow? I had no success until I followed the Liftmaster manual (you can download it from the website) rather than the Lexus manual.

It's a two step process. You need to program the home link with the remote. Then, you need to program the home link to your base. One problem could be the proximity between the base and your home link when programming.

2 step process in simple terms...

1. Program your RX transmitter (follow steps in the manual).
2. Your garage door opener needs to be programmed to receive signal form your RX. [You need the manual for the garage door opener]... usually there is a learn switch and you need to transmit within 10 sec or so from pressing the button.

Default Her is the answer!!!

I had the exact same problem w/my 07 rx 350 2 weeks ago. I worked 4 hours and called everybody including genie and lexus and my dealer. Guess what I finally called Homelink and talked to an angel of a young lady named tracy who acted like she had built and designed both my genie opener and the homelink transciever, she knew immediately what was wrong and it was my genie keychain opener I had been using the largest button to perform the link and she talked me through the procedure and I had a programmedRX in % minutes Homelink is great same level of service as Lexus and on a Saturday at 6PM and she even called me back 20 minutes later to make sure everything was still working as I had trouble with an overheated opener.
Just google search for Homelink, watch the video and copy down the 800 # Happy RX 350 owner Hooray Homelink+ Lexus, Phil
