Default Another December to Remember Thread

Since the holidays are only a couple months away, I wonder if it's worth the extra wait before purchasing my RX350? From what I've read, Lexus offers very good leasing options and great deals on closeouts. However, since there aren't any 2006 RX350's to be closed out, I wonder if there's a benefit for me in waiting.

Does Lexus also offer special financing rates in their December to Remember sales event??

Yes they do, but no one knows yet what cars will be included in the specials this year. If you're not in any hurry you should wait, you've got nothing to lose. It starts right after Thanksgiving and runs through until right after New Year's btw.

Do you mean to say the financing rates depend on the type of vehicle? In other words...2.9% for GX/LX but not RX??

I"m not in a huge hurry, but the quotes I'm receiving seem very low. Not sure if they can get much lower. The only issue is the financing rates.

Yes that's exactly what happens.

If you need to finance or lease I would wait since the good deal you are offered now shouldn't change in 2 months, but they might get a little lower since it's year end.

Since you're in California try contacting Peter Kong at Lexus of Glendale to get a quote, they are a CL vendor. Good luck.

Hmm...then I'd basically be rolling the dice to determine if the RX qualifies for special financing. Did it qualify last year?

I don't remember. You can ask Peter Kong as he would probably know or perhaps some of our members who bought or was shopping for a RX330 last year remembers and will chime in?

Well, unless 2008 RX350 is due in next March, I don't think there will be a hugh discount on the 2007 RX350 during the December to Remember sales event (a/k/a year end clearance sales). Maybe couple hundreds bucks off like the September Golden Opp. Sales. I would think low financing rates will be available for the RX350 and RX400h (first time for hybrid).

Currently Lexus offers .00175 money factor (approximately 4.2% interest, multipy the money factor by 2400) 55% residual on 36 months. Haven't heard about any special finance rates.
