Just pick up a RX350 today, it was the Flint Mica w/ Gray FWD w/Nav, heated seats,18" wheels, etc MSRP $44,146 I got it for $38,100.. I think I did pretty good.. still reading the manual and learning about the computer system, by far this is the highest tech vehicle I own and loving every minute of it... now if I can get it out of the garage (too pretty to drive).. think baby steps... just kidding

Thanks to this forum, I was able to make a decision, my other choices were the FX35, ML350, MDX, RX400h

it's funny how I got the deal, I noticed the RX350 when my neighbor bought one, they said they were at the dealer for 5 hours negotiating on this RX350. They told me they got it for $38,100 and MSRP was $44,123. I was in the market anyways and the lowest price I can find was $39,200 (Costco Auto buying program) and the two dealers (Newport Lexus and Westminster Lexus) I was dealing with; one was in that range while the other start playing the "invoice?" game, so I ask them where and whom did they buy it from. I was recommended to Lexus of Cerritos and the saleman. So after test driving all the other choices..FX35, ML350, etc... I contact the sales guy yesterday, test drive and told him to give me the same deal but I didn't want to hang around for 5 hours negotiating or I walk. It took 15 minutes, and after waiting for the finance guy and the prepping of the car, I was out of the dealership within two hours...

To answer your question yes, I'm in Orange County, California and in this location within a 30 mile radius, there are at least 3 Lexus dealerships.

Funny thing, the guy at Newport Lexus called me back and said he will do invoice and free carwashes for the life of the vehicle (don't laugh car washes are expensive)...I said I just bought the car and told him, to take people more seriously before trying to play the "invoice?" game. With this kind of investment, most people do the research before they buy, but then again he is located in Newport (where most people down there are rich)..

Yes, I dealt with the two dealers you mentioned, but purchased from another one in Orange County. Newport is a joke. I received a promise from an Internet Manager and I responded back basically saying they couldn't keep their promise because I got much lower quotes.

I want to thank everyone in here for great tips and info. I just purchased my RX 350, FWD, Premium Plus, No Navigation 2 days ago. MSRP $41,475, I paid 35,5 plus $750 coupon from Lexus for attending Taste of Lexus Event so my final price was $34,750 plus TTL. The purchase experience was wonderful, we agreed on the OTD before I got there. One question though, should I do anything to provide extra protection for the paint, my car detail place offers to put on teflon for $175?

Great price!

I would suggest going to the detail section and pose that question. I think maintaining your paint with quality waxes and careful washing is better than an expensive teflon coat.

HI Bongos and Lexus ower,

I read your posted message and it seemed you got a great deal on your "baby". 38,100 was the out of the door price for your Lexux ?( I meant included everything ?) Would you please tell me what dealer you purchased your Lexus from ? ( I live in Orange county too).
If you can give me the saleman name then it would be great.
I want a AWD, w/ Nav, 18' wheels and DVD player with XM if possible.
Thanks
Dave
By the way lifetime carwas is great.

khoaly000,

Just wonder what your price was before tax, I had an email from Lexus of Wesminster past Monday offered 07 RX 350 with Navigation
$37,987.00 before TTL, sale ends Oct 31. If this is lower than what they offered you, PM me w/ your email, I will forward the email to you. Another thought, you can you my email or your price to have Lexus of Mision Viejo beat it.

Looking for dealers that will DEAL on the east coast. Looking at a RX350 AWD with Nav, Prem +, 18" wheels. Cheapest so far is fleetrates but have to ship from LA to South Carolina. Anyone used Fleetrates? Must be dealers on east coast that will match their "dead invoice" + shipping.

Anyway, $41.5K is a good price for AWD, Navi, Prem Plus, 18" wheels. I paid $40.8K here in MA. And I read some paid $40.2K in NJ. I would email/answer them with the lowest price. And I am sure some would beg you to come to the dealer and make the deal next week 'til 30th.
Lok888,

I located in MA and is now looking at a 2007 RX350. Which dealer did you purchase your car from ?

Thanks

Default I just Purchased the CAR

I just got the car yesterday afternoon.
I got it exactly 41K with FDW with Nav,,,18' wheels....and fully loaded, the saleman aslo gave me free clear FloorMat. It is a great car ever. You should purchase the Nav, it is very usefull and very Professional.
Special thanks to Bongos, TripleDes and everybody it here tthat showing me tall tips and locations. GREAT CLUB.

I have question if anyone know ? How many keys are there when we got the car ? It seems that I don't have one very importan key, which is # 3 and it is called KEY NUMBER PLATE. it also said we need to keep it in a safe place. Do I need to ask Lexus about this or it just don't have it.
Thanks
Dave.
If anyone interest and want to ask me about the deal, just PM me, I am willing to direct you.
