One of my phone book contacts changed their phone number so I wanted to put in a new entry and delete the old one. (I have an RX400 SEL)

I put in the new one OK but how on earth do I get rid of the old entry?

I've lost my manual so can't look it up, and 30 minutes fiddling today didn't help me.

Any suggestions warmly welcomed but I have a horrible feeling that the only answer is to delete ALL numbers and start again...

The whole phone system is the MOST USELESS thing I've encountered for years - really unworthy of the car!

Not sure about deleting phone book, but you can go to Lexus.com and sign up as a owner. They will send you a new manual if you click on lost manual button.
