cloth RX350??
This is weird. I was at my Lexus dealer today, and saw 4 RX350s with cloth seats. It had no moon roof, no leather (obviously), no rain-sensing windshield wipers, no automatic steering wheel adjuster, and only a single disc cd player.
Now i was kinda interested on how much this vehicle is, but after sending emails to several dealers, they are all coming back to me with negative feedback. One tells me that "Oh if you want cloth, go to Toyota that manufactures cloth seats" or "There's no such thing. I have a ....blah blah blah".
So please someone tell me if you've seen a cloth RX350 or RX330. I know i wasn't seeing things this morning.

We were told during purchase that cloth isn't available anywhere else but maybe Alaska. Long time ago my friend had an IS200 with cloth, I think Lexus + cloth is pretty rare indeed.

On the Lexus web site, you cannot build an RX350 without one of the Premium packages when using a Florida zip code. Thus, you can only see pricing on those with leather. I checked the local dealer web sites and none have cloth RX models in inventory.
If you have a digital camera, go back to the dealer and snap a picture or two of what you saw. Was there not a sticker on the cars you saw? Or, were these already sold with license plates? If so, perhaps they were a special fleet purchase.

Out of Warranty
Lexus manufactures a cloth interior for most if not all of its models, but they are not imported into the US - at least not officially. Most of these "decontented" vehicles are sold in the Far East. If you are really not a fan of leather, or moonroofs either for that matter, your dealer can special order a model equipped the way you want it. They won't make it easy for you, but it has been done.

EXACTLY. That's what happened with my RX300 back in 2000. At least back then, they were willing to look for one, or give me price quotes but damn, they are so rude nowadays so they can sell you a loaded vehicle.

I was kinda thinking about getting it (with the small budget i currently have left) instead of a 4Runner, but i doubt that my local dealer will give me good quotes. I tried internet, but as i said earlier, all i got was negative feedback. They thought i was crazy, like i was taking drugs or was an alcoholic or something.
Perhaps you can send those dealers the sticker and other pictures to show them that they were in fact the ones that were crazy, then take your business elsewhere.
