XM Radio on the RX350
Has anyone purchased a RX350 that didn't come with XM radio installed, and had the dealer add it?
If so, how much was it?
Thank You

Thanks for the response. Do you have an external XM radio? How does the built in Lexus system compare? I've read it's not very user friendly and it's difficult to browse channels/categories/genre, etc...

My dealer here in Central NJ quoted me $600 for XM. I am just waiting for my Lexus Reward Points to hit and then it will only cost me $100 .... nice! Just need to get used to the limited interface on the stock radio ... damn wife didn't want Navi! Hehehe.

Excuse my ignorance about this subject, but is there a monthly fee in addition to the 600 bucks, or does the 600 bucks get you a certain amount of time with the service and a compatible radio, or is it just the radio?

Mine cost $650 and they did a great installation. I brought some pictures of a previous installation and wanted to ensure it worked with the mode function. It actually gives me three screens (18 channels) of XM settings on the nav system. And they did an external antenna close to the roof rack so that it doesn't really show. Yes, there is an additional monthly fee that varies according to how long a period you get it for. Check xmradio.com.
I think if you're new to the service they'll give you three months free if you tell them when you activate the radio.

Actually it does. However, you do not have access to all the stations you receive with your radio. I will admit, I have not used the online XM radio in a few months, but that is how it use to be.
