Forum, It's seen like you add on the wood in the area at the steering wheel. Right. I don't think it comes with the RX.

It's added by the dealer's detailing department as an add on.

I've seen that as an after market item and want to get some. The one's I've seen say their the same wood as factory and run between $160 to $260 or so depending on the number of pieces

My concern is the color matching of the existing wood detail inside if you purchase this piece on line or after market. Any thought?

You are right. I recently bought an LX470 **** and it does not match my other wood trims 100%. Close enough for me to be happy about. But if you had light versus dark wood, then it will not look good.

If the wood kit says "FACTORY MATCH" then it matches perfectly.

The last two kits I bought matched exactly. The cheap ones will never match.

These kits sell for around $300 + and have a 3M Scotch made backing.

I heard they are made by the same company that makes Lexus.

One of the web sites I saw said the same as Lexus OEM. Of course I'll sell you this bridge we have in town also if you like. It's OEM (old elderly Montana)
