Anyone Upgraded From RX330 to RX350?
To anyone who has traded in their RX330 for an 07 RX350 is there big, noticable difference in power in the 3.5 engine? Also which engine feels smoother, quieter, more refined?

I am interested to know if there is any noticeable difference in interior noise levels between the 330 and 350. According to the lexus website they have added additional sound insulation in the doors/floor and special windshield glass.
Thanks,
Thanks,

Yup, just did this about 2 weeks ago (05 330 to 07 350). If you want more details you can read the thread about the 330/350/400 poll.
Definitely more power. I was unable to really test out the power since the dealer didn't have a demo and I didn't want to juice my wife's new 350 until we get through break-in. You can notice a definite difference however. I feel much more comfortable on merges and passing.
The sound inside is still quite good. We've commented quite a few times on how quiet the cabin is. On the outside, however, you can definitely hear the engine and it is louder. (still very quiet in comparison to most other SUV's though).
I definitely like the Nav, bluetooth and backup camera (the real reasons I wanted to upgrade for my wife) although the voice recognition is not as refined as in my Infiniti M it's A LOT better than the previous generation nav.
Hope this helps!

I wonder if their will be a comparision between the RX350 and the RX400h. Seems like both cars have the same performance. Maybe they will test the MPG each car can get...heh hm....I wonder if they will change the RX400h to the RX450h since the GS will have that hybrid powertrain....

The GS450h has a rear wheel drive layout...
so it is quite different from the front wheel layout of the RX400h. It would not be much of a stretch to upgrade the gas engine to the RX350's and there might be a case for calling it an RX450h because it will surely have more power even though it's already outperforming V8's in its class.
