Question 300 vs. 330 [n00b Suit On]

Hi all.

I haven’t been in the RX Forum, in like ever, but used to S-Mod way back when. I claim DaveGS4 as a good friend, but he’ll likely deny it.

Anyway, the reason from writing is to request some info of course on the 330 vs the 300. The wife and I are considering a lightly used RX and the variation so far I’ve found in prices are ~$5k, which, to me,. Isn’t much when you consider we’re planning on keeping the vehicle for 10+ years.

So, in a nutshell, what are the differences, and what value do you place on them?

TIA

Default Night and Day Difference

Wife just moved from 99 300 to 06 330. The difference is dramatic. The 330 (06 model) handles 10x better, the ride is smoother and quieter, the interior is much more luxurious and the look obviously is more updated. I was looking at CPO low mileage 330's and found I could buy a new one for very close to what they were asking on a used one (bought one at dealer invoice).

If your going to keep 10 years buy as new as your pocket book can stand, make sure all maintenance was done and get a 330 subsequent to 2004,
