Default wood trim: assistance needed

i *****ed up this morning. it was cold. i was late.

i threw an xbox controller down towards the cup holder in my 04 rx330. it was on my seat and in the way...it hit the wood trim behind the cup holder. the wood chipped.

the chip is about the size of a dime... in the corner.

im gonna look for the piece after i get out of work today for possible super-glue resolution, however if i cant find it ... it will need to be replaced.

how do i go about getting just this one piece? i imagine lexu$ will charge for the entire set and not just the piece i need.

does anyone have a parts manual they could take a look at?

what about an aftermarket company?

any and all ideas/input are welcomed.

Every once in a while I see someone parting out RX330s on ebay. I have seen them sell the wood cup holder part, center console, and other wood trim pieces from the RX330. Maybe you might get lucky and find the part you need.

Sorry to hear about the chip. The wood must be pretty fragile to chip so easily.

Perhaps there's a TSB on it? This is the first case I've heard about this situation.

According to my Parts Manual, to replace the Upper Panel Front Garnish will set you back $184.96, the Upper Panel Rear Garnish, $140.09. They come in either Light Brown or Medium Brown. Hope it's helpful!

You never know. As I mentioned, I've never seen it occur before, but it may be the case that the wood they used in an earlier make is extremely fragile and prone to chipping.
