Hydroplaning?
Anyone else have problems with hydroplaning in the RX330 on the highway in the rain? I had a big problem driving to Vermont . The car kept hydroplaning while other cars whizzed by me. It couldn't have been the tires--the car was only 3 months old at the time. Also, does anyone else find the windshield wipers don't go fast enough in a heavy rainstorm?

I have the Michelin on the RX400h (235/55-18) and so far it's performing well. How fast are you travelling at that time and do you check your tire pressure often? If you haven't checked the tire pressure since you purchased the car back in August, I bet the tire pressure may have dropped 3 psi already due to the change of the weather and the lowering of the temperature. On the other hand, when I got the car brand new the dealer has overinflated the tires like +6 psi. That may cause some contact issue too.

Tires come with RX are great to get you out of dealers' doors but average at everything else. My Bridgestone slipped and slided for the entire winter in upstate NY. Goodyear Integrity are not that much better - see poor ratings across the board from owners at www.tirerack.com
