there's actually and aftermarket air susp controller (do a search cause there's another thread here with more details on it) that can allow you to adjust the ride height quite a bit more than the stock system would. i dunno if the lowering springs would work on the air susp.

Reguarding LOWERING, If one were to order an 05/06 RX with the "Air Suspension lowering" Option, can they OR would they still need an Eibach pro lowering kit (1.2" drop) to reduce the wheel gap and obtain a sleeker look?
