The clunk is gone, but no fix for dash rattle and ticking
1) The clunk is gone! Lexus Canada knows about the clunk and it is a very simple fix. The clunk comes form the transmission coolant line which is attached to the body just underneath the Radiator. All they have to do is to insulate the line. 15 minute fix. The dealer I went to is ERIN PARK LEXUS in Mississauga. They say a TSB should be out soon.
2) The dash rattle was not fix despite insulating the intake cowl and putting rubber insulator between the dash and the windshield according to Lexus Canada's recommendation.
3) The infamous ticking. Lexus Canada knows about it. No fix so far. The mods on a few RX330 has not been successful. I also test drove the new Solara which has the same engine. Same ticking noise if you listen carefully but 10 times quieter.
