Hi, I am trying to replace the center console "open" button on a 2007 RX400H without replacing the entire center console cover (the OEM part comes only in a kit as far as I've been told). I would like to purchase a replacement button if anyone has one to sell - it looks like it would just snap in..

The interior color is like the tan-beige color.. thanks!!!

Lexus does not sell just the button. Only as part of the whole console assembly. You need to check your local auto salvage to see if they have any wrecks you can scavenge for parts if you just want the button.

I agree, you'll need to find a used or damaged piece and salvage parts from it.

Is this vehicle still under warranty? If so, it should be covered.

For a 2007 if your mileage is still ok (<50K) , then warranty should take care of it.

If the button was damaged due to abuse or was lost, it would not be covered. The OP did not make this clear in their message.
