nav guidance ON with radio ON.....RX330
quick question on the 330 NAV.
the NAV's guidance voice control (the lady who tells you when to turn) will override the driver side speakers with it's voice when the radio is ON. it's a good feature if you want to listen to the guidance but it make the audio jumps back and forth if the street has a lot of turns.
this is especially obvious when POS is on driver... POS ALL is a liitle better but still noticable.
is there anyway to allow the radio play continuiously with the guidance. basically, i don't want the guidance to override my music
hope you all understand what i am talking about.
thanks in advance

Out of Warranty
Temporary Fix
Go to "Menu" screen and select "Volume", press "off", then press the "Map" to return to your guidance. You must do this every time you start the engine.
That and the dreaded "I Accept" screen are not among Lexus' better features. Wonder how long it will take for some enterprising individual to develop a flash fix?

but i don't want to turn off the sound all together but just don't want the nav to knock off the sound of the radio. can they both play without killing the driver side speaker?
thanks again

guidance volume
I'm shure that I have changed the volume of the guidance voice. just search the optoins in the pages on the screen for a "guidance volume"............or something.
