I notice they didn't put the trackpad on the RX, unless that's a picture of a non-Nav unit.

I noticed it as well. But I think it does have Nav, since one of the buttons above the controller says Map.

It is a very nice styled vehicle with a lot of similarities to the NX. I fear that Lexus may have made the nose too aggressive. Since the Grill has the horizontal slots I am guessing it is a non F-Sport version where the F Sport will have a billet Grill. The large Grill may be too much for the family buyers, seniors who buy, and non-sport types who drive. They may look towards the Acura MDX instead because of the aggressive looks. The current 2015 RX front end may be more appealing to these buyers.

An example is: my mother n law is in her mid 60s and drives an older RX. She wants a new one and is between buying new or going for a CPO. She is likely to go with a 2015 CPO or new MDX vs. this vehicle because of the stying. Things like horsepower don't matter to her. Using regular gas and ok gas mileage do matter. She doesn't drive more than 10,000 miles a year so mpg is not a deciding point for her.

I agree that some potential RX buyers may be turned off, but Lexus has done their market research and is probably on target. For someone who's not liking the new style, there are plenty of 2015's in stock. When I bought my NX last month there were over 500 new RXs on the lots of the 5 DC Metro dealers. I'm thinking that would mean there are great deals to be had. You can contact Lexus of Rockville for a no haggle price on one, they call it "True Price". The "True Price" on my NX was far lower than I was hoping to negotiate; I highly recommend them.
