Yes, Lexus has stated that they will continue to offer an F Sport model in the new RX.

half of the pics so far have been from RX F-Sport, heck - red interior posted above is from F-Sport.

Default better but still

The silver is an improvement over the white and the blue, but still, that grill is too much for this old geezer, I think. Waiting to see it in the showroom. I hope they don't do something like this to the LX.

I'm glad the link got fixed. An interesting, if somewhat cut-and-dried, presentation.

I like the idea of the new hand-sweep feature over the trunk logo to open the hatch...but Ford has an even more convenient system on the Escape and Lincoln MKC that allows you to sweep your foot under the bumper to pop the hatch if your arms and hands are full of packages. We'll see, though, if the Lexus system with the logo proves more reliable.....one problem with the Escape's system (the MKC's is newer) is that the sensors, underneath the vehicle, get corroded with salt/moisture and can fail.

As far as the so-called "ride-comfort" the guy talks about with the new 20" wheels....well, I'll believe that when I see it (or, rather, feel it). Until then, color me a skeptic.

I hope the RX will offer a significant bump in rear cargo space (with 2nd row up) over the NX.

They've announced the RX200t at the Shanghai International Auto Show. I'd probably still go for the venerable 3.5 engine though. Not sure how reliable the 2.0t is, and I'm not a fan of 4-cylinders (even in luxury cars).

I could not agree more about the plastic crap. The first photo of it I saw I said, " What RX owner complained about their wheel wells for Lexus to put that ugly truck fender on a RX?" Five years of driving an RX and not one paint chip there. Other places yes, but not there.

Where did you see that they removed the plastic from above the fenders? The silver RX shows that there is still plastic above the wheel arches.

The 2.0t will not be offered in the RX in the US. Even if it were an option, I'd still go for the 3.5, though.

I noticed that too....it's just way skinnier than on the reveal. I wonder which one is the production?
