Am I the only one that thinks the design looks a bit gimmicky? Part of me likes it from certain angles and greatly dislikes it from others. I get the feeling that this style won't last many years... Another concern I have is if the fsport seats are as small and restricting as they are on the NX. I'm a 6'2 fit guy and I found them uncomfortable. A lot of my clients don't have my health practices.
I was really hoping that this would clear the air between my 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit vs 16' RX decision.
Any know about hybrid mpg?

Really glad they stuck with a one piece headlight:
Love the detailing in that wood trim, and the curve to the wood on the console. Happy to see a normal console in the RX vs the minivan style dash/console its had since the beginning:
Like the brown leather:
Finally, map across the big screen:

Thanks but no thanks. That front overhang is going to take me a long time to warm up to. Also not digging the F Sport (only model I'm interested in) rims. Hopefully those aren't the only ones.

That blacked out portion on the rear quarter panels of the car connecting the rear passenger windows and the rear window is interesting. I like the design overall, I really always hated the bubbly look of the RX. I don't know how efficient this will make the space inside but the interior looks fantastic. Also why is there a wood steering wheel even offered, its 2015! lol

We traded out of our 2014 RX to right-size into an NX.
This new RX is 5 inches longer than the previous generation...
We didn't find the current RX to be necessarily lacking on interior volume.
It will be interesting to see in person how they have utilized the extra real estate.
I'm also curious how much money Lexus saves, by making the front grille so large, over having lovely sculpted sheet metal on the front.
I don't dislike it, but I'm not in love with it.
But its clear, the direction Lexus is taking with the future designs.

Yeah, about the only thing I'm not liking is the two-foot long front overhang. Rims I'm ok with as they resemble the GS F's which I like.

J/K. I am liking the interior but need to continue to look at more angles of the front and the plastic wheel overhangs. The rear quarter look is good but the front isn't in those pictures.

Will improve ride a little also with increased wheelbase; I too considered an NX; way too small for me; . Hope the price is not bumped too high; the base price on my '13 was 39 +.... PS; LOVE the new Lincoln Continental!!
