replaced stock antenna with S2000 antenna!
hey guys,
here's my latest mod. it was slightly time consuming, but in my opinion very worth it.

HAHAH sweet... how'd you do it??? FInally something new i can do to the Rx3. I always loved the S2000 Atenna... so short and stubby...

you will need to remove the stock antenna mast and motor. to do this you need to remove the lowest panel inside the vehicle (the piece that has the compartment for the first-aid kit). remove the two nuts that hold the motor in place. unplug the antenna. remove the harness for the power. and pull out that black tube that goes to the floor (it's for drainage. it just pulls out). for further info on how to remove the mast, look up the instructions;

first of all, you will need an antenna base that will fit well into the stock spot. i found that an antenna base for "1984 and up Corolla F/R, Tredia, Vista; fiber classics by Harada (FMF-21T)" fits well. You do need to use a tap set to rethread in order for the S2000 antenna to be able to screw into it. Here is a picture of the antenna that I got at a local car-stereo store:
