Hey, Everyone. I've joined this group to help with a problem my girlfriend is having. She owns a 2000 rx300 which makes a knocking/clanking sound in the rear. I took it to a local mechanic who tells me that she needs a new rear stabilizer bar and links but that the dealer wants $500 for these parts. Can anyone recommend a parts place for these vehicles? Thanks.

you can get links anywhere, amazon, ebay, your local parts store.

As far as the rear swaybar, try posting in the wtb section or search for a part out or area junk yard.

Was the RX in an accident where the rear swaybar was bent? I ask because it is very light and typically not a wear item unless damaged in an accident or rusted through.

That's a good question. I don't know the answer. I'm going to find out tomorrow. I just thought maybe there was a used parts supplier for these vehicles but I really should find out what the deal is with the sway bar. Thank you
